The right candidate will have a passion for sports as well as excellent writing skills. The Daily Telegraphs sports coverage area in West Virginia and Virginia includes three major universities, three local colleges, more than 20 high schools and two minor league baseball teams. Job requirements also include page layout and design, multimedia and some photography. Successful candidates must be highly motivated with good interviewing skills and have a college degree in journalism, communications or related field. Experience with photography skills, multi-media experience and QuarkXPress a plus. This is a full-time position that requires night and weekend shifts.
